About
Camillo Sancisi is an animation director and author born in Milan in 1996. He graduated in 2019 from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Lombardy and later developed his practice as a self-taught stop-motion and 2D animator.
His work spans stop-motion, 2D animation, digital illustration, and experimental techniques. During the pandemic, he worked at Alkemy in Milan as an animator, post-producer, and director on narrative and commercial projects for brands including F.C. Inter, Barilla, and AstraZeneca.
In 2022, he directed the 2D short film Moon Spirits. In 2024, after a six-month workshop at Aardman Animations in Bristol, he completed In Our Hands, a stop-motion short selected by more than forty festivals, winner of ten international awards, semifinalist at the Student Academy Awards, and shortlisted for the Nastri d’Argento. In 2026, he completed Everblind, a new short film born from a co-production with Spain and awarded at its debut at Cortinametraggio.
Alongside filmmaking, he is also exploring online content creation, growing from a few hundred followers to nearly thirty thousand in just a few months.
